Restoration is Easier in the Right Hands
Project overview
Physio-remedy is a modern physical therapy center located in Ano Archanes, offering personalized treatments for rehabilitation and wellness. The project’s goal was to design a clean, professional website that reflects the clinic’s values and provides comprehensive service information.
As the UI/UX Designer and WordPress Designer/Developer, I was responsible for designing an intuitive user interface and developing the WordPress-based website to ensure it was both visually engaging and fully functional. I collaborated closely with a digital marketer to bring this project to life.
The Problem
Before launching the new website, Physio-remedy lacked a dedicated online presence to showcase its services and engage potential clients. Without a clear platform, the company struggled to:
- Communicate its expertise and range of treatments effectively.
- Enable users to easily book appointments online.
- Establish trust and credibility with new clients in a competitive market.
The absence of an intuitive website limited the company’s ability to attract tech-savvy users and streamline its operations.

Goals
- Find a reliable physiotherapy clinic nearby.
- Learn about available treatments for back and neck pain.
- Easily book an appointment online.
Frustrations
- She is frustrated with websites that lack clear service descriptions.
- She prefers not to make phone calls for bookings.
- She feels overwhelmed by too many options and struggles to trust service providers without reviews.
Kostas Dimitrakopoulos
Age: 60
Occupation: Retired Engineer
Location: Athens, Greece
Background
Kostas recently had knee surgery and requires physiotherapy for recovery. He values personal recommendations and prefers a straightforward, easy-to-navigate website for scheduling follow-up treatments.
Goals
- Find a trusted physiotherapist with expertise in post-surgical recovery.
- Read about treatment approaches and success stories.
- Access contact details easily to call and book an appointment.
Frustrations
- Finds overly complicated websites frustrating and difficult to use.
- Wants assurance about the clinic’s experience with post-surgical patients.
- Prefers to speak directly with staff for additional guidance.

Wireframes
I've created high-fidelity wireframes for both desktop and mobile, based on our IA and sitemap.
A few takeaways for the wireframes:
- Some of the copies are written in Greek
- The client already wrote some content for us, so half of the text you are going to see is legit and half is a placeholder text (lorem ipsum)
UI Design
I've created a design system with a calming and professional color palette to evoke trust and align with the company's brand.
And incorporated clean typography and ample whitespace for readability and focus.

Reflection
The Physio-remedy website project was an excellent opportunity to combine my expertise in UI/UX design and WordPress development to create a user-centric platform. Through a collaborative process, we developed a website that not only enhances the company’s online presence but also simplifies the user journey for prospective clients.
One key takeaway was the importance of designing for a diverse audience, from tech-savvy users to older clients. Balancing functionality with accessibility was a central focus throughout the project.
Looking ahead, I would explore opportunities to incorporate advanced features, such as appointment form with online payment integration or automated appointment reminders, to further enhance user convenience. Overall, this project was a rewarding experience in creating a platform that directly impacts user engagement and comapny growth.
